About
I have always had a fascination for the stars and celestial objects, as a young lad I’d stare up at the heavens on a summers evening from southern unpolluted skies, one could clearly see the concentrated formations of stars that make up the Milky Way.
Many years on …with an interest in Astronomy & Photography I now find myself in the Northern Hemisphere, trying to achieve visible results from light polluted suburban skies. The aim of this site is to really document & record the various aspects of astrophotography using amateur skills & hardware available to anyone on a budget.
When I’m not coercing photons I’m an IT infrastructure engineer for two small Data Centres.

Hi and very glad i found your site as it has given me some more inspiration to get outside with camera and scope again.Love the captures you have and would not of thought most of them would be possible in the skys above MK due to the large amount of light polution we now have.
Will be out in my back garden in Wolverton with the EQ5 and the 1DMKIII with a 17-40mm experimenting as soon as possible.
Clear Skys.
